The Developing Nation
"A developing nation", A term which when heard, sends a bolt of patriotism through our bones and makes every grandpa recite the tales of valor and about how the British looted us. But don't you think its high time that we change this present-continuous tense into the past tense (developed). What is stopping us, or rather what is it that is pulling us back? The simple and straightforward answer to this question is "Us". We are the ones who is pulling us and our country down, its been almost 74 years since our independence and still, somewhere in the back of our heads, there seems to be a tinge of what is called an inferiority complex. Most of us are afraid or rather hesitant to set foot into the world with unlimited opportunities, where we rule ourselves, where we are happy with what we are, where we roam freely with the eyes of confidence, trying our best to be the best.
